Adastral Park

Adastral Park is at the heart of the UK’s digital economy. It combines a global R&D unit and test facilities with a thriving community of collaborative technological innovation. It is home to BT Labs, BT's Global Research and Development Headquarters, and Innovation Martlesham, an established cluster of more than 120 high-tech, ICT companies. One of the world’s most famous telecoms and computing addresses, its 40 hectare campus is home to around 4,000 scientists, IT experts and engineers. Adastral Park is in the Ipswich area, a location known for attracting and growing innovative and creative tech businesses.

Norwich Research Park

Norwich Research Park is a world-renowned centre of excellence for research and innovation in biotech, genomics, agri-tech, plant science, food and nutrition. With world class research facilities including Quadram Institute, Earlham Institute, the Sainsbury Laboratory and John Innes Centre, it is adjacent to the University of East Anglia and the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. Set in over 230 hectares of parkland, Norwich Research Park is located on the edge of Norwich, with 115 businesses and 12,000 employees including 3,000 scientists and clinicians. Science at Norwich Research Park transcends conventional boundaries by forging interdisciplinary links, thereby driving innovation and enterprise.

OrbisEnergy

OrbisEnergy is a worldwide centre of excellence for renewable wind, wave and tidal power and accommodates a diverse cluster of related businesses from start-ups through to international companies. Situated in Lowestoft on East of England’s Energy Coast, OrbisEnergy provides top office accommodation, meeting rooms and conference facilities, and also offers tenants, visitors and investors access to an unrivalled offshore renewables business network.

Hethel Engineering Centre

Hethel Engineering Centre supports the growth and success of high-performance engineering and manufacturing companies, and entrepreneurs with novel concepts. Its support services include access to a network of specialist advisors and partners with years of commercial experience in supporting engineering and manufacturing companies. Sectors supported include motorsport, food processing and packaging, defence, offshore energy, agriculture and Information and Communication Technology (ICT). The Centre is located next to the global HQ for Lotus Cars and their manufacturing and engineering facility, five miles south-west of Norwich.

CEFAS

The national headquarters for the Centre for Environment, Fisheries and Aquaculture Science (Cefas), a world leader in marine science and technology, is based in Lowestoft. Cefas is the UK’s most diverse centre for applied marine and freshwater science and research, and works with a range of public and private sector organisations, educational and research institutions and governments from around the world. The headquarters building has been transformed creating a new marine science facility to keep Cefas in our region for the next 40 years, securing 450 jobs.
